Monte Cristo

Total time:  45 mins
 
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Bisquick Original Baking Mix (or crescent rolls)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 6 oz. Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz. deli-style ham
  • 6 oz. deli-style turkey
  • ⅓ cup spreadable fruit (apricot/raspberry/etc.)
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease square baking dish (8x8x2)
  2. Mix baking mix, milk, and egg until blended.
  3. Spread half of the dough in bottom of dish. Top with half of the cheese, ham and turkey. Spread fruit over turkey, and top with remaining cheese, ham and turkey. Spread remaining dough over cheese.
  4. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
